MONTVILLE, NJ--Since 1982, Kids Connect has been providing exceptional programs and a nurturing environment to allow children to grow and learn. Faced with the COVID-19 pandemic, Miss Marisa, the Director of Kids Connect has implemented enhanced safety measures and launched new school age programming to help support families through this challenging period of time.
Kids Connect has put in place strict sanitation and screening protocols. All children and staff are screened for fever and symptoms prior to entry daily; if anyone presents with a fever or symptoms, they will not be allowed into the facility. A professional cleaner is on site during all hours of operation to ensure the premises are continuously sanitized throughout the day. Children are also required to wash their hands in between each activity. Preschool classes are limited to ten children, family meals are not permitted, and toys and supplies that cannot be easily sanitized are not in use at this time.
Kids Connect also launched programs and learning assistance for school age children up to thirteen years old to support local families, since some after school programs in the area are suspended. Certified teachers lead all enrichment classes in a range of subjects including math, science, art, foreign languages, and chess, among others. Kids Connect teachers also provide homework help to ensure children stay on target with their academics. This additional support is an asset to our community to keep kids learning!
